We believe our Sunday gatherings are the most vital and joyful part of our weekly rhythm. 

Our desire is to grow as a disciples of Jesus through worship, teaching, prayer and community fellowship. Whether you are new to faith, or returning after a time away, looking for a new church family or simply exploring Christianity, you are welcome here!

As disciples gather, Jesus is uniquely present with us and we can experience the nearness of his comforts, wisdom, and love in uniquely powerful ways.

During Sunday morning’s precious hour and fifteen minutes, you can expect the following:

  • Without the help of the Holy Spirit we cannot understand the holy scriptures.  We strive to humbly ask God to give us spiritual understanding before we open the pages of this uniquely precious treasure.

    “The right hand of the LORD exalts, the right hand of the LORD does valiantly!” Psalm 119:18

  • “Rejoice!  Again, I say, Rejoice!” Philippians 4:4

    Our church family loves to celebrate our redemption in Christ Jesus, and we are grateful to have a rotation of multiple worship leaders who help us raise up a unified voice in worship using a blend of traditional and contemporary songs.

    “My tongue will sing of your word,
    for all your commandments are right.” Psalm 119:172

    “A Psalm for giving thanks.
    Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!” Psalm 100:1-2

  • We love the Bible and desire to know the mind of God.  Expository preaching is a powerful way to learn God’s word.  Carefully studying the Bible verse by verse helps us more thoroughly understand a passage within its context so we can more accurately live it out.

    “I will meditate on your precepts
    and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.” Psalm 119:15-16

  • God has done a marvelous work in and through Jesus Christ!  As a result, we love to “give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, and make known his deeds among the peoples!” Psalm 105:1

    We do these things through the ordinances Jesus commanded that are testimonies to his faithfulness.  We have occasional baptism services and celebrate the Lord’s Supper monthly.

    “I call to you; save me,
    that I may observe your testimonies.” Psalm 119:146

  • Our heavenly Father wants all His children to know the love He has for them, so Jesus told his disciples to let the little children come.

    After our congregational singing, we have a separate opportunity for children, infants through 3rd grade, to have age-appropriate engagement with God’s word.

    Each of these ministries is led by volunteers who have cleared background checks and are members of ORC.

    “Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth! I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old, things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation, the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done. He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children, that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children, so that they should set their hope in God
    and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments; and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.” Psalm 78:1-8
